Non comune nel Salento, attualmete i nostri avvistamenti sono limitati all'area del Mar Piccolo (Taranto, Italy), T. Inserraglio e S.Maria al Bagno e Porto Badisco (Lecce, Italy). Dai mesi tardo primaverili a quelli estivi.
