Doriopsilla rarispinosa Pruvot-Fol, 1951

Specie non molto comune, incontrata soltanto in poche località del versante ionico della penisola salentina. Sempre a bassa profondità e sotto pietre. Questa specie può avere una certa variabilità nel disegno del mantello con disegni biancastri su fondo giallo, più o meno scuro, che formano una sorta di reticolo.

Not very common species, encountered only in a few locations on the Ionian side of the Salento peninsula. Always at shallow depths and under stones. This species may have a certain variability in the design of the coat with whitish designs on a yellow background, more or less dark, which form a sort of lattice
